I’ve been quietly working on a new project for 2018 and am excited to finally announce the launch of YUMBO – a school lunch delivery service for Christchurch, New Zealand.

We’re kicking off deliveries in term 1 2018 but you can subscribe now through the website.

We’ve also just launched a gift voucher system for Christmas so if you know someone living Eastside, gift them a break from making lunchboxes for a few days. Contact us through the site for details.

In term 1 we’ll be catering to schools in Mt Pleasant, Sumner and Redcliffs but our areas will expand over the year. If you have children at a school or preschool in Christchurch, get in touch to request we cater to that school.

This is a project close to my heart, being an advocate for nutritious food for children (and adults) that actually tastes great. I’m still working on my musical projects – stay tuned for my lullaby album coming out soon – but I’m loving working a lot more with food, and integrating a little more of my post-kid reality into my work!

The idea behind Yumbo is to be tasty, sustainable and convenient. It’s about feeding wholefoods to kids in a way that they enjoy, about eliminating processed and packaged foods from lunchboxes, and it’s about making life easier for busy parents!
